Mu Sigma Chapter UR Endowment Fundraising Campaign
The Mu Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. seated at the University of Rochester is partnered with us to raise money for an endowment that will provide annual scholarships to underserved students on campus.

Cougar Classic Tournament Fall 2025-Spring 2026
A Brooklyn based CO-ED youth basketball tournament focusing on under served student/athletes ranging in age from 10-16. Founded in 2003. In total the program services over 500 participants on a yearly basis.

The Luna Park Clothing Company Campaign
This is a collaborative apparel project uniting Brooklyn’s Luna Park Clothing Company with
Empire Rises’ community programs. Customdesigned shirts will outfit staff, volunteers, and the
kids in Empire Rises projects, blending bold graphics with messages of creativity, curiosity,
empowerment. Proceeds and awareness from this initiative will support Empire Rises and a
diverse network of partner nonprofits, extending our impact across communities.

Empire Rises Skills & Thrills Camp
This tournament encompasses middle school girls and boys basketball teams, a skills camp and refereeing training program all wrapped into 10 consecutive weekends.

Transit Classic Tournament
This is a basketball tournament showcased in Brooklyn, New York. The best and the brightest New York City Transit Employees will compete to be crowned the championship team of Brooklyn. Fourteen teams, over 100 NYC transit employees, well trained referees only one champion squad!

Yoga In the Park
Join us for yoga in the park all summer long! Programming will consist of mat, chair and family/kids yoga classes. No prior experience needed and all levels welcomed! Every Saturday from 10am-11am starting June 22nd to Aug 24th)
